Raise the Roof

Carter Glennon is starting a new program aimed at inspiring inner city youth to participate in the arts. Using the instruments given to them by the Guitar Center as well as instruments donated by the Apostolic Church in Newark, we are planning on teaching children to raise the roof with music.  Classes begin in the south ward of Newark in September with orchestra and band group lessons. Even though we have a start with our Guitar Center donations, more instruments are needed. We are now accepting donations of any band or orchestra instrument towards are program.
